Realizing the Self: A Weekend to Reconnect, Restore, and Expand
We’re delighted to invite you to a deeply nourishing in-person weekend retreat of Transcendental Meditation and gentle yoga, set in the height of summer.
This immersive experience offers a chance to settle inward and reconnect with your deepest sense of self, cultivating greater energy, clarity, creativity, and inner steadiness that naturally carries into all areas of life.
Join us from Friday, June 19 at 4:00 pm to Sunday, June 21 at 2:00 pm at the beautiful San Damiano Retreat Center in Walnut Creek.
Surrounded by rolling hills, quiet gardens, and expansive views of the Mount Diablo landscape, San Damiano provides a peaceful, light-filled setting ideal for meditation and renewal. The grounds feature serene walking paths, open spaces for reflection, and a sense of natural stillness that supports deep rest and rejuvenation.
The course fee includes:
Two nights’ accommodation in a private room with a private bath.
Delicious, nutritious meals. Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday breakfast and lunch are included.
Expert facilitation of the retreat activities by Laurent Valosek and Laura Osborne.

A limited number of partial scholarships are available for people experiencing financial hardship.
Cancellation policy: Due to the non-refundable costs we incur in securing the facilities for this retreat, we aren’t able to offer refunds or exchanges for cancellations. This includes the case in which we have to cancel due to a pandemic or a natural disaster. As a result, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes “Cancel for any reason” coverage.
